Active Learning @ BCS

• K-5 Family Math Nights provide opportunities for BCS students and their parents to come together to explore math concepts in a fun, engaging environment using games, puzzles, and other hands-on explorations and activities.
• For older students, the Julia Robinson Math Festival inspires them to explore the richness and beauty of mathematics through activities that are collaborative, creative, intriguing, and accessible.
• Math Olympiad is a contest for grades 4 through 8 that fosters flexibility and creativity in mathematical problem solving and sense making.
• BCS hosts S.T.E.A.M. days to give students the opportunity to create and “tinker” while providing meaningful and fun learning experiences.
