At Bullis Charter School, we care for our learners before school, after school, and during all
school breaks including the summer. Our Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P)
enhances each child’s academic, social, emotional and physical wellness with hands-on,
engaging experiences.

The BCS Board approved Enhanced Learning Opportunities Program Plan

Our partner, WAY TO GO FOUNDATION, runs the tuition-based expanded learning program at BCS. Financial support is available for families qualifying for the Free & Reduced Lunch program (participation is free of charge) and families in financial hardship (participation with reduced fees):

At Bullis Charter School learning doesn’t end with the last bell. We offer a wide variety of STEAM classes and sports for learners in TK-5th grade on both our North and South campuses every afternoon until 4:30pm through our fee-based Extras program. BCS staff and vetted local organizations are creating innovative programs that cultivate curiosity, inspire confidence, and encourage joyful learning.

Extras runs through the school year and provides an extended period of student care that creates a predictable schedule while offering quality enrichment.

Students in select grades also have the opportunity to participate in the BCS Visual and Performing Arts afterschool programs that include drama and choir.
