how to enroll

BCS provides families with an innovative, empowering and results-oriented choice.

Follow the steps below to enroll your student at BCS.

1) Submit your enrollment form

Use the online enrollment form or download this version. Paper enrollment forms are also available at the Bullis Charter School office at 102 West Portola Avenue in Los Altos.

2) Gather your documents

Carefully review the list of required documents below. A copy of each document is required for every child.

A. Copy of child’s birth certificate, Passport, OR Baptismal certificate and

B. TWO of the following:
Recent Property tax bill
Current Rental property contract, lease, or payment receipts
Voter registration card
Current DMV vehicle registration
Utility bill that dates within 3 months (gas/electric, land line, garbage, water, cable – cell phone not acceptable)

NOTE: Above documents must contain the parent/guardian name(s) and corresponding residence address.

BCS offers equal access to applicants through our enrollment lottery regardless of their actual or perceived disability, gender, gender expression, gender identity, nationality, race or ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic that is contained in the definition of hate crimes set forth in Section 422.55 of the Penal Code or association with an individual who has any of the aforementioned characteristics.  The requested documents are solely for the purpose of establishing the age and residency of the applicant. If you are unable to provide any of the required documents for any reason, please send an email to info@bullischarterschool.com or call 650-947-4100 to discuss your situation with our enrollment coordinator.

3) Complete the process

An enrollment packet for each student, containing a completed enrollment form and all required documents, should be submitted online, in person, or mailed to the BCS main office.

Submitting a completed Enrollment Packet does not automatically guarantee admission. You will be notified of your child’s admission status following the close of the Open Enrollment period. If more students apply than seats available, we hold a public random lottery following the close of the Open Enrollment period* to select students. All remaining students are placed on a wait list.

*The enrollment lottery for the 2021-2022 school year will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021.

NOTE: If your child is offered a spot in Bullis Charter School, you will be asked to complete additional registration forms to complete the admission process.
