Non-Certificated Hiring Process

    1. Submit an application packet.
    Please submit your application packet as soon as possible. You can fill in our application file, print, sign and mail it, along with the other required documents (see below) to the Superintendent’s Office. Please include the following:
    • A completed Application Form (Note: Do not complete any sections of the application with "See Attached Resume")
    • A cover letter (addressed to Mrs. Wanny Hersey, Superintendent/Principal)
    • Resume
    • Three (3) current, confidential Letters of Recommendation (one from an immediate supervisor) or College placement papers with letters included
    • Copies of Credential(s) or Degree(s)
    • Copies of College/University Transcripts (originals required only if hired)

    2. Be selected for an interview
    Complete application packets will be screened independently. Based on screening results, applicants will be selected to interview for specific positions.

    3. Interview/Testing
    Candidates will be contacted by the Superintendent/Principal and interviewed by the Interview Committee. Interviews will begin in March and continue until all positions are filled. Interviews will be approximately 30-40 minutes long. Testing may be required for certain positions. Testing will be scheduled immediately prior of after the interview.

    5. Reference check
    A comprehensive reference check, which must include the candidate’s most recent direct supervisor, will be conducted prior to any offer of employment.

    6. Conditional offer
    The Superintendent/Principal will contact the candidate with a conditional employment offer to discuss salary, placement, benefits, and general employment terms.

    7. Approval by the Board of Education
